Clinique Cheek Pops 2015

The Clinique Cheek Pops 2015 represent the kind of make up that makes me happy. I mean, who doesn’t want to smile at these? When I saw last year’s versions, I remember thinking, ‘but this is so… pretty’.. and pretty isn’t something I associated with Clinique. However, as time goes on, it’s clear that pretty is definitely the way forward for Clinique when it comes to their make up.

So first up are Pansy Pop, a lively pink shade with tones of violet and Melon Pop, a light, peachy pop – I think both will suit palers tones beautifully for a fresher segue into summer.

Next, up, Rosy Pop, a deep pink, and Pink Pop (which I dinged! …nooooo) which is just one of those fresh flushes of colour that instantly wake up your face.

In the swatch, from bottom to top: Pansy Pop, Melon Pop, Rosy Pop and Pink Pop.

I love this playful side of Clinique – it’s a brand that presents us with some serious skin care and it’s unusual to see any brand bridging a serious side and lighter side so seamlessly. I still think Chubby lips were one of the best beauty inventions of all time – and those glossy lip crayons started a chubby trend that still goes on. I’d love to see one big floral blush palette from Clinique with six mini Cheek Pops so when you open it, it’s just a blast of bright and beautiful flowers! That would go straight into the Beauty Hall of Fame!

You can find Clinique Cheek Pops 2015 from 26th June for £16.50 each.

  1. I don’t know why they release so late. I have heard about them since last year. I was in London in November and when I went to Harrod’s, I asked if they had them already. They did, but they weren’t displayed and he had to search all over the shop to find some of them. I did not buy they eventually… But they do look gorgeous! x

pretty and not that expensive considering these might last a while

These last so well, I have literally used my 3 from last year to death. The flower design is looking very sad but they’re still going. I love the slight glow in them so much-brightening without being too much for oilier skin. I also think they’re a pretty decent price for the quality of them and for being a higher end brand. I have a feeling I’ll need to pick some of these up! Em x

These shades are all so fun and bright. The pigmentation also looks amazing meaning they would hopefully last a while.
