Clarisonic Black Jaguar

Clarisonic Black Jaguar

Oh, lookie! I don’t use my beloved Clarisonic as often as I used to but it’s still in very regular use – I have some of the very fine heads – the Cashmere Cleanse – that they brought out a while ago so if you ever wanted to find out what it feels like to have your face tickled by ducklings, that’s it!

I liken the Clarisonic path as the same as GHD – there comes a point when everyone who wants one will actually have one. So, styling it up is the only way to go as there is only so much you can do to ring the changes. Clarisonics are pretty sturdy things – it’s not going to break anytime soon unless you’re very unlucky – so there is no ‘need’ to buy another. They have to make you ‘want’ to have a new one. I know there is a Clarisonic pedi but meh.. not so interested in that to be honest. So, a bit like GHD, we’re currently going through different colours and patterns and I kind of love the Clarisonic Black Jaguar – better than the pastel shades or pinks, anyway.

I do get asked a lot of questions about the Clarisonic Mia – whether it’s worth it, etc. All I can say is that I have not known better cleansing and if you really enjoy your cleansing routine, it’s a hugely worthwhile addition. If you’re a wipe and swipe girl, then keep your £125 in your pocket! My skin looks brighter, certainly, when I’m using the Clarisonic than when I’m not. The brand new Clarisonic Black Jaguar is a SpaceNK exclusive – and it’s limited edition; so if you like go-faster stripes (or spots), it’s HERE.

  1. Exactly, do you need another one.. they’re launching that new model in a few months but that’s about it. I got 3 at home.. 1 is being used.. what a waste really. They’re so sturdy and won’t break.

  2. what cleansers do you recommend to use with the clarisonic?

I’ve used everything from facial washes to oils and balms.. I’d say a light cleansing oil is what seems to work best x

  3. I thought you weren’t meant to use oils, Jane? I went out and bought foamy facewash especially when i got mine and haven’t been using it as much as I prefer an oil. Hmmm might go back and re read the instructions!

You can use whatever you like; I think if you’re using balms or oils then the longevity of your brush might not be as long, but you should experiment with different textures and use whatever you like best. If you use oils, then make sure you wash your brush regularly to prevent build up. x

  4. oops sorry I forgot you’re on hols!

  5. Thanks Jane – this is Liz from Clarisonic! Cmpletely right re face oil. Jst to note it’s important to add water – Clarisonic should never be used dry. So put the oil onto your face as normal, but then add water to your skin AND the clarisonic brush. It’s this ‘fluid force’ that assists in the deep cleanse. This will also protect your brush head, which shouldn’t then need replacing any earlier than normal. Hope that helps DRG.. x

  6. Fab, thanks Liz and Jane!

  7. Wow thanks jane and liz! Glad I asked! I never knew you could use oils and balms! Just like the above poster, I was purchasing foaming face washes to use with it (which I don’t really like). Looks like I’m going to be using my Clarisonic more now.
