I think we could say that the word to describe Clarins Spring 2015 is fresh. I’ve already blogged the lip oil but the other things catching my eye are these beautiful Instant Light Lip Balms – sheer nuances of colour that add light to the lip.

The shades I have are My Pink, Orange and Red – if you’re opting for My Pink, it really is barely there – more of a splash of milkiness than a colour as such. The other two shades have a bit more to them but again, are fresh and juicy washes of colour that will enhance rather than dramatically colour the lips.

The Crayon Kohl Liner gave the sharpest line of any liner I’ve had I think – probably because it’s somewhere approaching freezing in my kitchen! But it’s a deep, forest green and the pencil comes with a brush at one end so you can blend it into something a bit more smoky (warm it up first!). Brushes on the end of liners are so much better than those little rubber nubs which I think don’t do any favours to the skin because you have to really work them and end up stretching and pulling the lid.

I haven’t yet swatched the palette – I hardly dare after the awfulness of their last palette, but I’ll give it a go and report back. The Clarins Spring 2015 collection launches on 15th January 2015.
