Clarins Skin Smoothing Eye Mask

This lovely, creamy eye mask is a re-release coming in August. You know when  you have those mornings and you look so scrunched up and, well, knackered that you just want to go straight back to bed? This is the very thing to uncrease it all and have you looking a little bit more sparkling at least. I’ve used it a couple of times and both times it put back some flexibility into the skin around my eyes and smoothed away the knackered look. Using rosewater and apricot extracts to hydrate and soften, the secret ingredient is rice starch that tightens and smooths. I’m not sure how well it worked on puffiness – a little decrease perhaps – but the mask is more for just bringing the life back to your eyes after a late night. It’s a really handy little thing to have in your beauty cupboard for mornings after the night before. It’s £29.

  2. I enjoy clarins products.. And this sounds amazing.. can’t wait to try it! Thanks for the heads up 😉

  3. What fab news! I’m glad Clarins have come to their senses and realised that they discontinued a truly excellent product. Apparently the ‘eye’ version of Beauty Flash Balm was its replacement but it never quite cut it (in my opinion). Having used other eye masque products by Sisley, Elemis and Darphin to name a few, the Clarins version was so much better. Just a lovely, gentle soothing masque that really did wake up tired peepers and soften the whole eye area – I was such a fan! I just hope they haven’t decided to ‘reformulate’ it as part of the re-launch exercise. Still, I for one will be hotfooting it to my nearest Clarins counter. Thanks for letting us know about this. Niki x
