Of all the spring 2015 things I’ve seen so far, the Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil has been the one I’ve wanted to try out the most (except maybe *that* Chanel blush). While we might know Clarins best for its iconic hand and body creams, oils form a key part of the brand.
My first introduction to Clarins was when I was pregnant with my daughter and someone bought me Tonic Treatment Oil so that I wouldn’t get stretch marks. And I didn’t – not one single one. First experiences with a brand are so important – it’s what binds you (or not) to it for years to come.
So, with Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil, they’ve added their oil expertise into a gloss – it contains hazelnut, mirabelle and jojoba oil but feels exactly like a gloss. Only better. There isn’t really any colour once it hits the lip (although there will be a raspberry pink version available on-line when the range launches) and I didn’t really pick up any big flavour, just a mildly sweet note.
I’m thrilled with this – it’s definitely one to look out for when the Clarins Spring 2015 collection launches in February.

HI Jane,
Have you seen the YSL ones? http://www.iheartbeauty.net/2014/12/new-beauty-launches-from-ysl-smashbox.html
Lip oils look like they’re becoming ‘a thing’!

going to have to try this@@ wow
Did it leave your lips softer and more hydrated?
I think what it did was make my lips feel calmer and less dry while wearing. I’ve only had it a little while so might be too soon to tell if it’s longer term softening and hydrating .
I love the idea of a lip oil. Anything to help combat dry lips from too many matte lipsticks!

This really catched my eye when I saw the first pics of the collection! Will definitely have to try it out. Anything that hydrates my lips is welcome!
Are the ingredients listed on the packaging?
My poor, dry, flakey lips is crying for this now! I cannot wait until February!
