Clarins Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil

I’ve only used this oil twice and already I am a huge fan. Blue Orchid is one of three Face Treatment Oils from Clarins using 100% plant extracts. Blue Orchid is for dehydrated skinThe smell is reassuringy spa-y and the oil contains rosewood, patchouli and blue orchid extracts with hazelnut oil to really push hydration into the skin. I love oils anyway, so have become a bit of a coinnoisseur and one of my key indicators is if an oil feels silky to the touch – which this does. Some oils, such as my Argan Oil that I bought in Morrocco feels much the same as general olive oil does; a little thick and heavy, but still gives a nice feel to the skin. Blue Orchid however, is in another league when it comes to light-textures. It almost melts into the skin, and on both occasions that I’ve used it my skin has been super-soft and moisturised by morning. No complaints at all about this one.

It’s £33.

OOoooo!!! face treatments! So I’ve never really tried anything from Clarins and lately my skin has been suffering from the cold harsh weather out here. I never thought things like oil face treatments existed and the only thing that has been helping with the dryness is my olay night cream… thank you for sharing this one!. I’ll be interested in any body oil treatments if they’ve got em.. how awesome would that be?!.

  4. I love this stuff! I use it every night instead of a night cream, it really suits my skin, leaving it feeling plush but not oily or congested. It’s a great product!

My skin is so dry! I think I may try and get a sample of this as I’ve tried a couple of oils but nothing has felt right yet! I trust Clarins as a brand though so this may well be a good one for me!xxx
