Okay, so the last two weeks have been pretty full-on looking at what beauty buys will be filling our shelves come Christmas. The reason that this snowman, bauble and tree laden month takes place is mainly for the monthly magazines who have what is called a long-lead time – that means that they are working on their Christmas editions now or very soon and need product to shoot and write about. It’s never a comprehensive view as some products come in much later and even though I’ve been walking this winter wonderland for years, it’s always a novelty to walk into a elf-heavy room in the middle of summer.
