I’m very pleased to see that the ads featuring Cheryl Cole for L’Oreal False Lash Telescopic Mascara have been shot without using any lash inserts and show her lashes just as they naturally are, but wearing mascara.
When you think about it, it’s kind of amazing that any brands are allowed to advertise their products using lash inserts (if they do, they have to state as such but this is generally in the teeniest print they can get away with at the very bottom of the page) because it’s misleading at the very least. You’d think, based on the ads shown of models with lashes of gravity defying length and fullness boosted by infills that every single purchase of that product would be a disappointment.
