Charlotte Tilbury Supermodel Body is the wonder product that everyone will be raving about – I’m not sure I’m loving the slimmer aspect of it but I get that it will help visually elongate. It’s quite hard to describe because while it does have sheen it also gives the skin a slightly blurred look when you first apply and yet it doesn’t have any so-called blur ingredients.
So, I’ve done my best with this swatch – you can see it’s a light golden colour when it first comes out – I would describe the shimmer more as twinkle because the golden particles are miniscule.
So hopefully now you can see what Charlotte Tilbury Supermodel Body does! It feels very moisturising on the skin – the twinkle stays put although after the moisture has sunk in the blurring isn’t there as much. What does stay is a wash of light catching iridescence behind the twinkles – this is so not my kind of product and yet I love it. I think that Charlotte Tilbury Supermodel Body is at the top of the body illuminator game – I haven’t seen a better one than this. It’s expensive at £45 but if it’s a holiday treat so your newly tanned limbs look amazing, worth every last penny. It won’t launch til June so plenty of time to ponder this one!

I think it’s just as appalling as the Rodial stuff. Supermodel Body in a tube? Yeah, sure. Sorry, but I really don’t understand why this gets a positive response. Twice.
Actually, in terms of visual appearance it does what it says it will – it illuminates and gives limbs a sheen. I have stated I’m not convinced by the ‘slimming’ aspect – but this doesn’t claim to do anything more than visually elongate. And, that’s also a bit of a stretch I think – totally get it that on a photo shoot these things all help – in real life, not so much. It’s play with shadow and light more than anything which is very much a make up artist point of view. Rodial on the other hand, (skinny sticks etc, size zero) claim that ingredients will help to make you slimmer in reality rather than visually.
This looks nice. I use pretty peaushun which is really good, I was wondering how you think the two compare?
It looks lovely but very expensive! Try Garnier ambre soliare Golden Protect – lovely shimmer and SPF!! I use it all the time and you can get it fairly cheaply in Tesco – my last 200 ml bottle cost about 9 euro!!
