Charlotte Tilbury Push Up Lashes Mascara

Charlotte Tilbury Push Up Lashes

The newest mascara from Charlotte Tilbury has exactly the same brush as the bareMinerals one that I reviewed last week. I find the brush style quite unwieldy – it’s almost a paddle style with micro bristles so you are more or less painting your lashes upwards before flipping the brush to give some definition. I don’t find it easy but the mascara formula is nicely holding so you will be upwards for longer.

It’s more of a mascara for volume than definition but it’s very, very black in shade and I do like that about it. The real star is the Super Nudes Duo Liner which has a deep, velvety brown at one end and a nude shade at the other. Either can be used on the waterline.

Using the pale shade on your inner rims instantly wakens up the eyes – it takes a bit of getting used to and its best effect is when it has been sitting on the rims for a little while because it begins to take on a more natural look. The immediate effect is wonderful for photographs but it’s not quite as natural. A blackened brown liner is the easiest thing in the world to wear – just a bit softer than carbon black, it’s a good framer for any colour eyes. It’s £21 HERE.The Mascara is £23 HERE. Hi Jane, what’s the difference, if any, between this mascara and the pillow talk mascara launched last year? I cannot work out if it’s the same one or not. Thanks, Justine.

It’s the same – I’d forgotten that I’d already reviewed it which is a bit of an occupational hazard. It came in a box of ‘new’ products so I didn’t put two and two together but thanks for flagging it up – now I’m seeing that bareMinerals have followed, not lead, on this which makes far more sense as CT is usually straight off the block on ‘new’. Apologies for any confusion x
