When we’re all done with high sheen summery gloss, I think that Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipsticks will be a perfect way to segue into autumnal lip looks when they launch in September. Although I’m not a fan or a connoisseur of matte lipsticks, these are promising a little more than your regular mattes in the form of ‘glowing pigments’.
As you can see, they’re pigment packed – they have a rich feel and quite moisturising too, although I still think that all mattes intensify every single line on your lips. When I tested Sexy Sienna (the nude shade) on my lips, I could detect a minute amount of shimmer in the formula, which is great if you love shimmer, not so if you don’t. Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipsticks will cost £23 and there are ten shades on their way. The red shade in the swatch is Red Carpet Red.
