[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’ve always liked the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette – they’re really just a doddle to use and always seem to get the colours just right for a neutral but put together look.
There are two different palette tones – this one is Glowing Beauty and the paler version is Pretty Blushed Beauty. I’m surprised there isn’t a deeper one but there is a picture bar on the CT site that shows how the versions look on a variety of tones from lightest to deepest.
I’d happily use all of these except the powder and it’s the perfect office drawer palette if you’re heading back any time soon. The textures are powder – the non-dusty kind and of course, as you’d expect, there is plenty of pigment. I really have no complaints on this one at all.

The things I’m most impressed with from this collection are the lip tints – they’re really very good and probably the best tints I’ve used ever. We’ve come a long way with tints since Benefit’s Benetint – the Charlotte Tilbury Tinted Love tints are full of pigment suspended in a soft liquid that’s lighter than air on the lips. The tint takes hold very quickly and my goodness – it stays!
The shades are vibrant without being fully charged and I didn’t find them in the least bit drying despite the liquid base. I think that liquid bases have been the challenge for lip tints across the board – as soon as it hits your lips the liquid starts to evaporate, leaving dry feeling lips that pucker up with the moisture drained from them. That doesn’t seem to happen here but there is enough stain from them that you could easily top with a balm and lose none of the impact.
From top left going clockwise – Petal Pink, Tripping on Love, Bohemian Kiss and Santa Euphoria. I love all of them but if I had to choose a favourite, I’d go with Tripping on Love because it’s the right kind of orange-ish red for me.
Swatches above of Glowing Beauty. Price wise, the palette is £55 HERE which feels okay for something that you will probably use all summer long and the Lip Tints are £25 each HERE. Non-affiliate link is HERE.
