When Charlotte Tilbury brings out something new, the whole of beauty world stops for a second for a quick gasp! The Charlotte Tilbury Wear Easy Colour collection claims a new to market formula with water technology so you get an instant hit of cooling to the lid. I can’t emphasise enough how little you need because this formula has a mind of its own. The wetness makes it as fluid as a whipped solid could possibly be so when you use it, you need to almost think of it as liquid.

I used the tiniest amount to create the swatches – at least you know that you’ll have it for a long old time! The two shades I have here – from a collection of six – are Norma Jean, a champagne gold and Cleopatra, that needs no explaining!
Sometimes with water infused formulas, once the liquid has evaporated on the skin, you can get drop – I didn’t find this the case with these and the colour stayed intense and true, but on the other hand, I didn’t find them super long-lasting either. I’m not sure they’d go from morning til night, but they’d probably do either or.
The Charlotte Tilbury Long Wear Easy Colour collection launches in May for £22 each and the key is to start with a tiny amount and build from there.

Expensive but if the shades are truly original or stand-out colours then I guess they’re worth it! That Cleopatra shade is beautiful!
Love the champagne colour
Wow! I’d love one of these in a nice neutral shade, something that I can wear everyday! That Champagne shade is BEAUT!

lovely pigments worth the price I believe
I wonder how the formula compares to the newly released Armani Eye Tints – Armani claims they have a water infused formula that cools upon applying – apart from the obvious tube vs. pot packaging. Have you tested the tints, Jane, and can compare?
Actually, yes… very similar – I have tested the Armani (it’s on the blog somewhere) – but I’d say that the CT cremes are even more ‘loose’ in texture.
Cleopatra looks stunning!

Very nice pictures too, by the way 😉 xx

Ooh both these shades look beautiful! I wonder if they dry out in the pot really quickly though. I hate that about cream eyeshadows in pots.

Actually, when things are really loose, I prefer to let them dry a little bit to make them more manageable.
Fair enough. I just mourn some of my Chanel Illusion D’Ombres pots which dried to be totally unuseable within a few months x
yes, I know exactly – they’re much more moussy and fluid than those so hopefully will stay around for longer.
Sounds good. Can’t wait to check them out! x
I out some water in the pot with one of my dried-out ones, closed it tightly and let it sit a couple of days… the product absorbed some of the moisture and became useable again. Now I always leave a few drops of water in the bottom of the pot. Worth a try for you, anyway!
the smokey eye you could create with cleapatra 😮 so beautiful!
New Charlotte Tilbury launches are my favorite, I love the look of the champagne one!
Loooooovely! The price isn’t too bad either! (:

Sounds like a beautiful formula, although not long-lasting is a con. Great review and wow, the swatches!

They look just amazing… wow wow wow
Oh my goodness, these look just incredible! Considering so little product is necessary, I wish they would’ve made a smaller container and made it less expensive. I really really love the look of these but do not like the price!
