Charlotte Tilbury Book of Make Up Magic

If you love the whole Tilbury empire, then the Charlotte Tilbury Book of Make Up Magic is a chance to dabble in a mix of skincare and makeup. I think it’s expensive at £150 but it is beautifully done.

Without wanting to give the whole game away, there are 12 small size products (but a full size Red Carpet Red lipstick) including the Take It All Off Eye Make Up Remover above – it’s a product I haven’t come across before but it works like a charm to cut through mascara and khol.

There’s a little pot of Charlotte’s Magic Cream – this one is a true marmite product! So many people love this and completely swear by it and others it has left cold.

And the aforementioned Red Carpet Red. It really is a mix of skin and makeup – a great ‘discovery’ box if you don’t know the brand but equally, if you’re already in love with it, lots of decent travel sized products so you won’t have to cart the whole kit if you’re on the move.

But, £150 is a lot. If you’re feeling decidedly put out because despite all the hinting no beauty advent calendar appeared, there’s still time to do a 12 day advent thing with this. Or not.. :-). It’s HERE.

  1. I love Charlotte Tilbury but this is very expensive. Would make a lovely gift idea though x

  2. Verity

I’ve only tried one product and it didn’t work for me so I’ve been a bit shy to try again. But the Tilbury love of what she sells is very enticing. This is too expensive for a trial for me though x

      Same here! x

  3. Kerri

Glad I’m not the only one who thought it was too expensive.

  4. Agnes

Not keen on her products. I tried a lot of them because her marketing machine is amazing and it tricks me time to time. I think they are overpriced for what it is (her Magic Cream is basically Ponds Cream in a fancy jar).

  5. I love this but it’s way out of my budget, i wish there was a place where i could buy advent calendars in January discounted!
