I’ve had such a long day in London today so I haven’t yet had time to unwrap and photograph samples of the Chanel SS16 Beauty range but I’m popping up my iPhone pictures that I took at the event so you can have a quick look so far. I will detail all products individually in a later post and give top-line information in this one.
The star piece of the LA Sunrise Chanel SS16 Beauty collection is the Sunkiss Ribbon palette, above, which is multiple shade blush with ribboning detail on the colour.
Next up, a new nail formula for Chanel and reportedly only as a limited edition for this particular collection, with extra shine. It’s called Sunrise Trip and although it’s showing blue in the picture, it shows purple in promo pictures. That’s the thing about this shade – it’s not quite blue and not quite purple!
Three new Rouge Coco Shines in glossy brights (actually, you will see a lot of these clashing brights in spring collections to come .. so red and pink, for example).
Elizabeth Arden Hyaluronic Acid Ceramide Capsules
I’d be prepared to put money down to bet that you won’t have experienced a skin care texture like this before...
Personally, the blue shade of Illusion d’Ombre (Ocean Light) is going to be a challenge, but I will probably manage better with Griffith Green and Moonlight Sparkle.
I don’t have a picture of the new mascara – Le Volume de Chanel in Ardent Purple, but if you love Le Volume in Rouge Noir, you’ll very likely love Ardent Purple because it has all that blackness behind it and just a nuance of sooty violet. In the main picture you can see three new Stylo Yeux, with green, blue and purple shades.
I’ll do a separate blog about the new Chanel foundation, Les Beiges Healthy Glow Foundation which I like so much that I’m wearing it already!
Everything is January launch date.
