Ever since I saw the Jardin de Chanel Blush Camelia Rose, I’ve wanted to get my hands on it. Now I have it, I cannot swatch it. Sorry! It’s going straight into my collector’s drawer.
Chanel Spring 2015But, I don’t think it needs swatching for you to know that it’s the spring season’s prettiest beauty product. It’s £36.
So, kicking off with the beautiful blend of pinks and greys in Les 4 Ombres Tisse Paris, this is a quad you don’t need to wait for spring to use (it launches, like the rest of the collection on 23rd January). It’s £40.
There isn’t one shade there that I cannot wait to get onto my lids! I love pinks for eyes – it used to be an absolute no-no, but pink is all in the nuance and these are so wearable with a touch of grey for smokes and a hint of peach in the backdrop.
Chanel Spring 2015For lips, Chanel Spring Beauty 2015 is all about bright corals (although I wouldn’t try it with a pink/grey eye to be honest).
Starting at the bottom with Levres Scintillantes in Fleur d’Eau (22) , it’s a juicy nuance of peach. In the middle is Rouge Coco Shine (£25) in Desinvolte, a light wash of balmy texture. Finally, Rouge Allure Velvet (£26) in La Petillante – a fuller, mattified burst of bright coral with undertones of red. There are other, pink based versions that I don’t have but these shades outstrip pinks any day for me.
Chanel Spring 2015Finally, for what I have here to share, are two of the three Le Vernis (£18) – the silver green shade is Paradisio and is limited edition, and the other shade is Tenderly, a grey washed plum. There’s a third shade, Desiro, which I don’t have here. And the lipstick at the bottom is La Romanesque in Rouge Allure Velvet.
