Although I’ve had a little play with yellow Mimosa nail polish, the likeliest candidate for a summer sell out, I’m easily more swayed by this gorgeous bronzer. I just love that strip of ripe mango that livens it all up so beautifully. It’s part of the Les Fleurs D’Ete De Chanel Summer Collection arriving on counters on 20th May, and costs £32.50.

While I’m on the subject of Chanel, what has happened to their gorgeous embellished limited edition palettes such as Jeans De Chanel, Les Coromandels or the exquisite Sequin Palette seen below? We haven’t had one for an absolute age and frankly, it’s about time they were right back on it. The lim eds were so stand out and so covetable that without them, it’s all looking like just another make-up brand. When you look at what brands such as Guerlain and YSL are pulling out of the bag season after season, some eye shadows and glosses and an occasional interesting nail colour just won’t cut it any more, however pretty.
