It’s always a happy day when a bit of Chanel lands on my desk and today is no exception (although I got them a few weeks ago, it’s the first chance I’ve had to have a proper look and play). Rouge Coco Shine is the latest lipstick formulation to join the Chanel lippie party. It’s made to a feather light formula in a semi-sheer with a tiny bit of sparkle thrown into the mix. Containing the Chanel Hydratender complex it promises hydration for 8 hours and the March 11th launch sees 25 shades sectioned into beiges, reds, browns and pinks arrive on counter at £22.50 each. As you can see from above, the PR office sent some beautiful pictures to accompany this launch as well as some very, very cute Chanel stickers. Immediately prized possessions!
Look out for the hit shade of the summer, Boy, in a copper tinted rosewood shade and named for the love of Coco Chanel’s life, Arthur Capel.

Do you know whether the Boy shade will be released for valentines day like in the states? It looks a lovely shade! Holly
That is actually the sweetest thing ever naming it Boy, makes me want to try it even more.
Hahaha, I find it so funny how Boy is already being so hyped up, like Mademoiselle was when the original Rouge Cocos came out! 😀
I have Rouge Coco in Orchidee and love it. I’ll defo be wanting one of these new sticks!
Soo pretty! Are Chanel lipsticks moisturizing?
Just wanted to drop by to tell you you’re on my blogroll and I love your disclosure statement. I’m in the same boat…lots of luvverly and not-so-luvverly stuff arriving weekly and everone wanting a good word. (I’m surprised at the number of beauty blogs that rave over everything like it’s a gift from on high.)
Keep up the great writing! I will watch out for Boy on this side of the pond.
Hey do you know if there will be an early release of boy in the UK?
I’ve been meaning to buy at least 1 Chanel lipstick for some time, but since I don’t wear lipsticks often, there’s not point in buying another lipstick when I have a couple left at home.
