Of the two Le Vernis from the September launch collection of Rouge Allure Moire, this paler pink is my least favourite. I love the depth of Rouge Moire but this is a very unforgiving colour because it shows every ridge and flaw in your nails. It’s also got a grey undertone that makes it a kind of ashes of rose shade.. but to me it looks a little, er, grubby. It’s possible that it’s just totally wrong for my skin tone and on someone else it will look like the sophisticated shade its supposed to but for my sallow tones, it’s a mismatch.

I actually think it looks really nice on you. Have you tried a ridge filler first as this will help smooth out the application 🙂
