Chanel Quads 2014: Les 4 Ombres

Well now, this is a lovely sight for tired beauty eyes! Chanel is releasing eight new Les 4 Ombres for 2014 all based around iconic Chanel tweed. Interesting Chanel fact: Les 4 Ombres were originally created in 1982. So, probably about time they had a change-up! With a new formula, which is softer and longer lasting, there are satins, sheers and iridescent and metallics in intense pigments – Chanel has got rid of talc entirely from these new palettes.

And, for all the nude fans, there is a nude based palette – Tissé Rivoli with golden taupe, light rosy beige, a reddish brown and a rosy golden beige (seen in the picture above).  The palette in the top picture is Tissé Vénitien.

There will also be four Long Lasting Eye Liners in Smoky Grey – Limited Edition, Marron Glacé, Iris, Bleu Métallique which I hope to get swatched soon. The quads will cost £40 each from March 2014.

Picked up the new nail varnish/lip gloss/cream blush combo yesterday in Covent Garden pop-up shop – burst of colour but still subtle…. Didn’t get the eye shadows (fool that I am) but will ‘pop’ back and get them!!

  2. I’m a fan of Tissé Vénitien; it looks absolutely gorgeous. I have tried Chanel lipsticks before but I never ventured out to get their eyeshadows. It looks like I’ve been missing out

  3. These look amazing, there’s a good amount of variety and would suit all eye colours 🙂
