[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I love how CHANEL is doing all their powder palettes super-size. They’re impactful and you have enough powder to last you perhaps not a lifetime, but certainly you won’t need to buy another in a hurry. I’m not a powder fan – I just hate the feel of it on my skin and yet this trio of powders is so finely milled I can’t actually feel it.
There are five options for the over-sized palette – Deep Rose Gold, Light Coral, Medium Coral (pictured), Medium Rose and Deep Mauve.
It’s the perfect partner product for CHANEL Water Fresh Tint which is what I will wear all summer long. Sephora has obviously just restocked because all shades (except the deepest) are in stock HERE. I get a new bottle as soon as spring shows signs of segueing into summer because it just goes – there will be none by July.
As you can see, you have three stripes of colour. The first and lightest is a highlight powder – it’s a minimalistic highlight that adds just a touch of illumination. The second is bronzer which I still apply using the old no.3 format (start at forehead, sweep into the cheek, sweep out to the jaw) and you can give it a light touch or add more depending upon where your tone is. The third is blush (tip: put a little on the eyelids to balance the look) and again, is customizable, depending how you feel on any given day.
I’ve run my finger over the palette for these swatches but you wouldn’t use this intensity on your face :-).
This is an almost complete CHANEL look – eyeliner (upper lid) is Electric Brown and lips are Anemone (HERE). So, the clincher is going to be the price – it’s £75. I won’t attempt to suggest the reasons why it’s £75 well spent because you’re the judge of your budget not me, but it is huge :-). You can find the CHANEL Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sun-Kissed Powder HERE.
