Ok, it’s finally happened – I have had a moment of regret regarding my eyelash extensions – because I won’t be able to wear the new Chanel Mascara, Inimitable Intense that launches in June. I don’t ever even miss wearing mascara, but I am one sorry blogger that I won’t be able to even try the guaranteed sell-out shade of Rouge Noir – blackest black with hints of red. Sigh. Other shades are Noir, Brun and Marine. But it isn’t all bleak, because I can, and will, use the beautiful new duos, Ombres Contraste. One shadow is powder and the other is cream-powder. I’ve got a sample of Gris-Subtil and it’s just a lovely, wearable dark grey with a contrasting dove shade. They’ll retail for £29, and the Mascara for £21.50.

The week prior to launch date (11th June), Chanel are offering customers a lash consultation – customers will receive a complementary 7 day trial of their chosen mascara and will be invited back on the 11th to have an eye tutorial.
