Now I have the full line up of Chanel Christmas Nails, I thought I’d get the shades onto a nail wheel and show them off properly. There are three colours in the nail collection; Le Vernis Rouge Noir, Rouge Noir Le Top Coat Lame and Le Vernis Rose Fusion.
Chanel Christmas NailsIt’s so tricky to show the exact duo chromatic nature of Rose Fusion – it’s described by Chanel as a grey-tinged parma violet and that’s just about right. It’s different colours in different lights – and sometimes shows beige as well. It’s the one I want most on my nails right now. Le Top Coat Lame has flecks of gold (not glitter exactly, more shards) in a wine stain juice and looks beautiful over Le Vernis Rouge Noir (above), although I think you could put it over just about any other colour.
Chanel Joues Contraste Lumiere 12 Coups de Minuit is a peachy shade illuminator that really works! I’m often a little disappointed with Chanel blush because it’s too sparkly for me but this is all about sheen and highlighting (there is some sparkle, mind you) but this really does lift the complexion and put light in the right places.
