Centre Point Call Out For Brands

It’s that time of year again! If you’re a regular reader of BBB then you’ll know that I do an annual call out on behalf of Make A Difference to brands who may be able to help supply contents for beauty bags for young women at Centrepoint’s London hostels.

Make A Difference has been putting together Christmas gifts for homeless young women for over 15 years and the team is made up of beauty industry bods from make-up artists, hair stylists to PRs to journalists. Although I am sure you don’t need any persuasion, one of the absolute highlights of the beauty bags is that they’re going to people with no expectation of receiving any gifts this year from anyone at all, never mind a bag full of practical and beautiful contents they’d never be able to buy for themselves. For many young women self esteem and self worth are at their lowest ebb while they’re homeless.

The practicals are: Skincare/hair care/make-up/fragrance/GWPs/toiletries in multiples of 50 items. The aim is to make up 250 bags so 250 units of anything is most welcome. If you’re a brand and you’re able to help, please email me in the first instance using the subject Make A Difference and I will forward on your email to the team. You will hear back from the Make A Difference Team for logistics, not me. Stock needs to be deliverable by 9th December.

If you’re able to help at all, thank you so much in advance.

I think this is a great cause! I have some Jelly Belly lip balms that we could donate. Please can you let me know your email address and I will send the details through?
