Browsing M&S for the previous Roger & Gallet post, I found this cashmere biker jacket reduced from £129 to £90.30 HERE – you don’t need to ask me twice! I must admit the picture is hideous.. there are much better ones on the site – I love cashmere.. never pay full price for it if I can possibly help it (TXMaxx is where you’ll mostly find me). I don’t know if you’ve seen any of the news stories about angora and the cruelty that is involved but I’ll certainly never go near it again. Never. Regular BBB readers will know that I am an animal lover through and through… I can’t bear any cruelty to animals so if you’re feeling really brave, Google the current news but be warned, it’s beyond upsetting. Or maybe just take my word for it that angora, as it is currently produced – or collected – is vile.

I did not know about Angora Wool, so thank you for pointing that out: I will NEVER buy it again until practices change
I’m glad that as an animal-lover you’re exposing the terrible angora industry. Will you also only be promoting cruelty-free brands in the future? Cosmetic testing on animals still goes on and is an unnecessary and ugly side of the beauty industry.
I don’t focus on cruelty free products but always try and highlight it when I can. It would absolutely be my preference if all brands had no truck with any kind of animal testing and hope that’s an achievable goal.
