By Terry Crayon Khol: Opaline Flash

I’m discovering that it is with very good reason that By Terry’s Waterproof Khols are said to be the best you can get. Obviously, anything that sits on the waterline is going to have trouble staying around because of the very nature of the area, but some do last longer than others.

I love wearing black khol but the time it stays is variable. I use a Bourjois one for preference or otherwise I use the tightlining method with a dry-to-wet khol powder (Chanel). I had a reader request on Twitter yesterday to try out By Terry Khol and the only one I have is the very pale pink Opaline Flash so I wasn’t all that hopeful that it would be flattering. But, what a revelation! Opaline Flash is a pinky-peach khol that once on the inner rims literally illuminates the eyes. Obviously, I’m going to wear it with tons of black lid liner and black mascara, but it is too pretty for words. And, as for staying – yes it stays and yes it stays longer than most.

It’s £22, which clearly is more expensive than most but quite honestly, it’s worth every single last penny and I’m looking forward to trying it in some of the darker shades, including of course, black! Find it HERE

  1. Great review, i love black eyeliner and don’t mind paying for it if it stays put! I might have to give these a go in Space NK very soon…

  2. Thank you for posting this… I’ve been trying to think of something to treat myself to as motivation to complete something (tedious) I’m writing. And this is it! The brown (looks quite metallic bronze in swatches) shall be mine!

    Woo!

    Nic x
