ButterLondon Nail Polish Remover Collection

Butter London Polish Remover
Butter London Polish Remover

Removing nail polish is one of the biggest blogger chores! Especially glitter polishes which, unless exceptional, I’ve more or less banned. I can’t bear the way that cotton wool catches on the bits and the fact it takes nearly forever to get those last, tenacious gritty pieces away.

I haven’t tried this scented kit yet – but love the idea that it’s acetone free (so maybe not quite as effective on the aforementioned glitters) and perfumed, because the scents sound so lovely! Beach Bum is Pina Colada, Powder Room is baby powder and Nutter is almond.

The set is £12 HERE.

  1. Lovely! Pina Colada sounds amazing. Loved the old Ciate white chocolate one as i find the normal scent quite off putting. There is a technique to taking glitter polish off…I’m sure I saw it on someone’s blog…I will need to look it up..

the way to remove glitter is to put a cotton pad soaked in nail polish remover on your nail, then wrap it tightly in baking foil. after around a minute if I’m right you can remove the whole thing and clear the nail completely.

and that is just WAY to much hassle for me.. I can do it and occasionally do do it.. but it needs to be a pretty special glitter for that bother.

I know, I’m not bothered by it as well. I like glitters, but I hate the whole process of removing it, it leaves my nails absolutely destroyed as they’re quite fragile.

  3. This is going straight on the wish list! What a lovely set x

  4. If you use PVA glue as a base for the glitter polish then you can easily peel it off in one. Makes wearing glitters so much more appealing 🙂

  5. Can’t wait to buy this, it looks awesome.

A bit late I know, but I remove glitter polish by using those cheap versions of the tubs where you stick your finger in the remover soaked squidgy stuff, and wiggle it around until it’s clean. I usually get the cheap pots from places like poundland instead of using the more expensive Bourjois ones as it shreds the foam but it usually works!
