butterLONDON Lippy

butterLondon Lippy in Trout Pout

So far, butterLONDON Lippy is only available in the USA but they look rather good. Billed as long-wear lacquer like glosses, I love the shade selection that echoes popular nail shades, including the one that gave butterLONDON its first real boost in the UK, Yummy Mummy. From this season’s collection, there is also Trout Pout which I love on nails but am not sure about for lips. With creative director, Nonie Creme gone from butter, it’s a whole new ballgame for them; she was one of the first nail artists to play with architectural shades for nails, with a line-up more like the Farrow & Ball paint list than a nail chart. It’s going to be interesting to see what the brand is like without her edge.
