Joyeux anniversaire Bourjois!
If you’re a regular reader of this blog you’ll know that I’m such a fan of the brand – even at 150 years old it’s never got stale and the innovations just keep on coming.
I’ve just spotted these beautiful shades coming up from Bourjois in a French beauty magazine – so it may be that they are France only. They’re a limited edition selection of mini polishes and as you can see, they’ve each got a year on the front and these years are all linked to a specific Bourjois moment in history. 1890 Manon Lescaut, for example, in beige nude is inspired by their first compact powder. So, truly history at your fingertips.
This one above references the lush shade of velvet theatre curtains.. the start of the Bourjois show.
It’s amazing to think that this brand has been going for 150 years.
