Bourjois 1 Seconde Nail Enamel

A brand new formula from Bourjois for summer nails launching in June. The colours are absolutely gorgeous. So, what’s new about the formula? Well, it’s a gel effect look, so super glossy and with a gel-silicone texture, smoothes on like a dream.

There are 14 colours split into ranges, Trend Nudes, Styl’in Red, Soft Poetry and Nail Fiction, including a see-through red, Grenadine Tonic, that is very cool if you nails are in great shape.. if not, opt for the fuller colours. It’s quite interesting as a top coat because you’re never quite sure what colour it will turn your existing nail polish.. I’m wearing a bright, bright green and adding the red as a topcoat turned it a racing green. Actually, that’s not quite as exciting as I thought it was at the time! But nonetheless, it looks like strawberry syrup.. gorgeous! They’ve all got a new brush shape designed to give a fan-effect and therefore better coating.

Look out also for No 13 Figue Chic from the Soft Poetry Collection.. think that’s the sell out.

They’re £5.99 each from June.

  1. I’ve never tried Bourjois’ polishes before, but might now. Quick dry formulas are my favourite as I always seem to do my nails when I’m in a hurry to get out.

  2. I can’t wait to try these! I love the look of almost all of those colours.

Looking forward to checking them out 🙂 xx

  4. I wonder how this is different from the old one seconde formula? The brush if it’s the same is excellent – quite the best nail polish brush I’ve ever come across. The old formula chipped within less than a day but because it does dry so fast it was great for a quick one coat mani.

  5. Love both the bottles and the colors!

Argh, this makes me disappointed all over again that Bourjois isn’t sold in the US. Looks different from all other formulas that I am aware of….
