It almost goes without saying that if Lisa Eldridge has anything to do with it, you know it’s going to be good. So, Lisa’s hand in developing this capsule summer collection for Boots No.7 is obvious – the nail top coats have a good slug of circular glitter pieces as well as some tiny, tiny particles so the effect is a random shot of light on the nail rather than a mass of chunks. One coat gives you a sparkle effect (it reminded me of Deborah Lippmann in quality) and just keep on going if you want the full nail-jazzle. I used the gold top coat over ButterLONDON Trout Pout and it looks fab.
The collection launches on 16th May and is available til 10th July. Nail top coats cost £8 and the Summer of Dreams Bronzer is £13.

Ooh, loving the glitter topcoats! Kudos to No.7 for doing something a bit different from their normal line! xx
They look nice and are different for No 7, but not different per se. Yet again No 7 appear to be trailing in the wake of everyone else – the swirled finish instantly put me in mind of the new MAC shadows and the Estee Lauder collections. I just wish that they would come out with something totally fresh and new rather than the half-arsed approach they seem to favour of following in a lack-lustre way. I sound horrible don’t I, sorry No 7.
I love no. 7 collections but that gold glitter top coat has been done and very well I may add, by sephora for opi…
I’m in with the “could be done better” voters. I have the feeling Lisa isn’t given the license she needs to really make the No7 brand shine like it could.
