Boob Glue

Boob Glue

Okay, then. Boob Glue. I’ve been wandering around the internet again and discovered this. It’s a liquid, roll on glue that you apply liberally over each boob to hold them in place in your outfit. As far as I can tell, Boob Glue is for those no-bra outfits where you don’t really want any movement or strapless bra moments where inadvertent popping out would be a no-no.

It kind of suggests that it will give added perkiness but from the ingredients, I’m not quite sure how. Nonetheless, it’s quite an interesting idea and I can’t decide if it’s a crazy one or a life-saver if you want your boobs to say exactly in one place! It’s a USA product only at present (HERE).. would you glue your boobs? I’m absolutely intrigued because I think we’ve all looked at dresses that don’t have any room for a bra (backless for a start) and thought, no, on that one single thing. However, I’m not sure how revealing it would be if you glued your dress to your boobs! You would probably have to pray for a warm night.

Ingredients:

ALCOHOL DENAT, ETHYL ESTER OF PVM/MA COPOLYMER, WATER, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, AMINOMETHYL PROPONAL, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, ALOE BARBENSIS LEAF JUICE, FRAGRANCE (PARFUM).

NB: As it turns out, SOCK Glue is a thing! Japanese sock glue in particular to stop your socks slipping down, but also for Irish Dancers. Seriously, who knew?

  1. This sounds really interesting and bizarre!! I think it could be a great invention though!

  2. I would use it! Boob tape does NOTHING, if it works and it’s reliable then I’m all for using boob glue haha.

Well, as Rebecca said before me if it works why not?. I would love it, if it does what it says but still wondering…the glue sticks then afterwards what? painfull to take off… forgive me cause am imagining super glue but for breasts! 😉

  4. Do they do it in extra duty for those who need a bit more uplift? Remember the advert where a man was held to a building with extra strength glue? I’d need that! Lol x

  5. This does sound quite interested, and I’d probably give it a try, unless it feels gross. When I’m out and not wearing a bra, I’m more worried about the cold and nipples than my actual boobs aha!

I use a similar glue all the time for less boob-related reasons 😉 such as ensuring thin straps on dresses or tops stay in place, or to make sure a neckline doesn’t shift down to expose too much cleavage. I do actually use it to keep my socks up too and it’s great 🙂 they’re also quite helpful for stopping a bikini/swimsuit from riding up your bum.

  7. What about the dress? Old sticky glue permanently welded to dress? Lol

This made me laugh, but it does sound interesting. I doubt for big boobed girls like myself that this would keep them from moving about ALL night though, but nevertheless i think it would be worth a try 🙂 x

  9. I use staysput sock glue for my socks (it’s on my blog http://www.helloterrilowe.com somewhere) which Irish dancers use, this looks pretty much identical. I get it off eBay for about £5 and it’s sticky enough to stick garments anywhere ha

  11. The idea of going out without a bra on just makes me shudder – boob glue or not – given my sadly less-than-perky breasts these days. Unless it does MAGIC with uplift, and making my nipples vanish under thin fabric, it’s not for me. Though the words Boob Glue will make me laugh all evening…

I’m Irish, I remember sock glue from years ago! I can’t see this working, to be honest, but my boobs are 36H so I’m probably biased as there’s no way it’d ever work on me 🙂

  13. I absolutely love that you find these random items Jane! I love the thought of this, but doubt it will hold up my 34E jobs, but who knows!

  14. How bizarro! Not sure anything besides industrial cement could keep my DDs in one place, but sure is a unique concept!

  15. Hmm thats an interesting concept. Wouldn’t buy it though.

Well, it can’t be less effect than that useless two sided body tape that Eylure does. I’ll pass on the sock glue thanks.

Do you who needed this? Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface. Her outfits were tiny bits of cloth that needed a lot of help (random, I know, but I was watching it the other night with Hubby and this reminded me of it)
