As if any of us need a reason to buy a new bag, this one from The Body Shop, designed by Tamara Mellon, features personalised handprints from an amazing celebrity roll-call. The STOP campaign could not be more worthwhile; aiming to bring a halt to the dreadful practice of sex trafficking of children and young people. As the largest campaign in the Body Shop’s 35 year history, it has recently made EU history by being the largest human rights petition ever presented to the European Commission. If that’s not telling them that it’s way beyond time to sort this hideous practice out, then I don’t know what it.
Anyway, the STOP bag features the paw-prints of Mark Ronson, Piers Morgan, Nicole Kidman, Joanna Lumley, Jamie Oliver and Mira Sorvino, so if you ever wanted to measure your handprint against Nicole’s, now’s the time. The campaign is being presented to the Human Rights Council in Geneva today (Thursday).  You can buy a bag from 6th October; it’s only £4 and all profits go to the SST Campaign.
