The Body Shop Shimmer Cubes really do look like coloured sugar cubes. Although they’re a little rough and ready, they always give good shimmer! This selection of pretty pinks is brand new, not yet in store, but well worth considering for a fresh spring look.

As you can see, you get a variety of pink toned shimmers, from barely there to beautifully bright – and the formulas really do glide on the lid. I didn’t notice any drop which is excellent from such a shimmer based product. In fact, the finish is iridescent so the shimmers run to low-key rather than full on glitter. Very pretty, but at £16 for four cubes, I think they’re a little on the pricy side and while you get a lot of cube, I don’t know that I’d ever finish one of these. They’re launching on 26th February.

Used to love working with Shimmer cubes.
The reason they’re so big is that they’re designed to also be used wet, and by dampening your eyeshadow applicator brush, they essentially turn into water colours with an insanely gorgeous and rich colour deposit.
This is also the reason they’re so massive as this will use them up more quickly.
With beige as the eye base, pink on the lid just on the eyeball, coral on the crease to the edge and then the darker fuchsia to line and accent the upper and lower lids from the first third/two thirds in.
I think these look so pretty. Using them as a water colour is such a great idea! Perfect for Spring! xxx

These look fab, I love the shade of the third one along, would love to see what they look like when applied with a wet applicator too xx
They are pretty colours, although I rarely wear pink. I am a little afraid my eyes look sore. I like the shimmer finish off these though
