This is one of two Body Shop Frosted Pastels palettes – the packaging is so pretty.

The colours themselves, despite appearances, live true to their name – they’re very light and very pastel. I swatched this both on my arm and on my eye and personally, the shades aren’t quite strong enough for me.

I found I got a better, and more pigmented result using the sponge end of the applicator rather than the brush. While I really like the concept of adding in the frosty blue, the reality is that it’s more of a wash of colour – I’m not sure anyone would notice the extra colour on the eye – but it looks very pretty indeed just used as a wash on its own with pretty twinkles for a bare-but-something-there eye.

There are multiple uses for the Body Shop Frosted Pastels palette but be aware that pigment is light which is ideal for understated eyes, but not if you’re looking for a smack of colour. It’s £15 HERE.
