Best Pot Rouge ever! You know when you get a product that makes your beauty heart sing? Well, that.. with this. It’s part of the Bobbi Brown Nectar & Nude collection launching in march and it’s called Hibiscus. I was expecting Nectar & Nude to be a little less impactful than it is – strangely, I think the weakest link in the collection is the palette.
Speaking of, here it is. I think I’d like to have seen it go a little more peachy – maybe a pop of mango – because if you are already a Bobbi fan you will have most of these colours covered. As nude palettes go, it’s going to tick all the boxes but I think there are stronger ones out there.
Nectar Gloss (the brighter one) does give that pop – I wore it last night and it’s sheer but with enough colour to make a brightening coral splash. Nude Pink is also very pretty – I will get everything swatched up for Sunday.
If you opened up a ripe Papaya, you’d get Nectar. It’s a gorgeously rich and creamy hyper-peach shade and it’s going on my nails tonight!
I think the Bobbi Brown Nectar & Nude collection is beautiful – it’s just so wearable with exciting colour pops for perfect summer make-up. The Collection launches in March.

Love these colours, but I’ve gone right off Bobbi Brown since they changed the size and then the shape of the pots; I’d amassed about ten of the palettes with the original round pots; then they changed the size of the pots so they didn’t fit in the palettes; then they changed the pots to square…. At least £300 of palettes which are now useless!!
