Bobbi Brown Christmas 2014

Ready, Set, Give

Well, Christmas products are rolling in thick and fast and I can’t avoid using the C word any more! It’s a very sumptuous start with Bobbi Brown Christmas 2014.

Bobbi has been hit and miss for me all year long, but this time, it’s a hit all the way to the Christmas tree. Gorgeous, smokey lacquer inspired packaging, and rich, golden colours that capture the make-up mood of the season.

So here it is.. most of it anyway: Bobbi Brown Christmas 2014. I can’t squeeze it all properly into one post, so I’ll kick off with swatches of the glosses and the Mini Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick Trio.

Shades from bottom to top are Espresso Bean, a near black brown, Smokey Topaz and Pink Sparkle. I actually want all of these on my eyes at once. I’m a huge fan of an eye crayon – they’re just so quick and easy to apply and from previous experience the Bobbi formula is a stayer. The set will cost £29.50.

I’ve really chickened out of the tricky things to swatch such as the palettes in this post… I will brace myself! But last up in this post is the Lipgloss Trio – my personal favourite is the Pink Pop because I love a winter bright, but the set is going to take you through every lip eventuality gloss-wise, from a natural look with Pink Sunset to vampy with Midnight Violet. Pink Sunset and Midnight Violet are both shimmer shot.

Midnight Violet is a bit of a surprise in in the swatch – it’s like a burned brown shade more than any violet tones and it has quite a heavy glitter accent with golden shards. It will cost £29.

The Bobbi Brown Christmas 2014 Collection launches into stores on 16th October. I’ll review the other products throughout the week.

Honestly speaking, nothing really new. I was a fan of Surf and Sand, even if the es were not that pigmented ( I have the Surf one ), but I will be skipping the Holiday one.
