Bobbi Brown Christmas 2014 Swatches

I don’t mind saying that it has pained me to do the Bobbi Brown Christmas 2014 Swatches. I think this is such a strong collection this time around and everything is SO pristine as it is that to daub my fingers over it seems every kind of beauty-loving wrong! But. I braced myself, so starting with the Mini Lip & Eye Palette (£25):

Starting with the gloss in Bare Sparkle, it’s then Ivory, Cement and Black Chocolate Eye Shadows followed by Brown Lip Colour and Natural Lip Colour. It’s my top pick from the collection because it’s affordable and multi-functional – anyone can get a good eye and lip look from this palette.

Again, this is a bit of a wow palette if you love nudes and neutrals. I actually didn’t want to leave this one to write it up – I could spend a very long time playing with all the shades.

From bottom to top: Rose Garden, Pink Blossom, Coral Pink, Pale Beige, Black Cherry, Blue Raspberry, Pale Mauve and Pink Sequin.

Palettes don’t get much better than this. The Deluxe Lip & Eye Palette is £59.

Shimmer Brick
Shimmer Brick

Honestly, I’m kind of over the shimmer brick – it’s one of beauty’s most copied items – but Copper Diamond has turned out to be my favourite Bobbi shimmer brick ever. It’s warm and golden and leaves a flattering uplight on the skin – and best of all, it’s not too sparkly, more of a wash of sheen. It’s £35.

The Bobbi Brown Gifting Collection launches on 16th October. My other swatches with the Lip Gloss Trio and the Long Wear Sticks are HERE.

  3. I love the look of the shimmer brick! The two palettes are stunning but I definitely wouldn’t get the use out of the lip products! 🙁
