It is not easy being a beauty blogger on a budget, but the more I see of www.latestinbeauty.com, the more I think it is a brilliant idea for bloggers who want to try the newest beauty products, but finances say nah. As I understand it, you become a member (free), and receive a box of samples every month tailored to you. You do have to text in to receive your box and that costs £1 (to weed out those who try to order hundreds at a time!). I was given a sample box to have a look at (pictured above) and was actually pretty impressed. The contents are:
2 DKNY Delicious Night Body Lotion sachets
2 DKNY Delicious Night Perfume press and pop bubbles (no idea of technical term but think fragrance should be available anyway in these dinky little portions)
La Roche Posay Toleriane Riche 5ml (plus a voucher to receive a travel size product if you complete a La Roche questionnaire)
1 Vial of Prescences de Bach; the fragrances made by the same people that do Bach Flower Remedies.
Samples vary from month to month. Everyone wins – the brands get their samples out to people who really want them (plus there is the obvious added bonus of not having to BEG at counter), and consumers get to trial products without an initial hefty outlay. Nice.

What a great idea! thanks for the post!
Wow! Sounds like a good deal to me!
I’ve used them for about 4-5 months the only things is I wish they had more choice I have had to get things more than once because they have ran out of product
That sounds like a lovely deal. Thanks for posting about it and sharing the wealth. 🙂
Thanks for this, i am already a member but totally forgot!
I’ve used it twice. I’d order again if they updated (Christina Aguilera perfume has been on there for months!) and if there was a bigger choice than 3 products for each category.
I’ve used them a few times. You order samples as and when you like, you don’t get sent them every month. They’re really good although they really need to start offering more samples. I also got the wrong set of samples once but I can live with that. Where they really shine is the exclusive offers – this one is for a new Estee Lauder moisturiser and 7 days of serum. Great for travelling too!
I’ve been a member at LatestinBeauty since Summer 2008. Great in theory, reality is unfortunately a shed load of Mary Kay and a Christina Aguilera perfume that’s been on there for about 18 months.
It started off fantastically well, but they really need to rope in some new suppliers if they want to keep people coming back once the novelty has worn off.
