I don’t pay nearly as much attention to my eyebrows as I should – I hate the idea of threading which always seems to have to be done with an audience on a shop-floor..no thanks – so just use mini-wax strips or tweezers. But since I started dyeing my hair a la Cheryl, my brows definitely need a perk up in the form of colour. It’s not a new product, but Benefit’s Instant Brow Pencil in medium completely does the job with a neat little brush at one end and a creamy pencil at the other. I love the integral brush.. I probably wouldn’t brush them every time if it wasn’t there – as it is, because it is literally the flick of a pencil, I do, and the whole effect is much, much better than it used to be. I don’t want ‘distinctive’ arches, just brows that look a little bit neat and not too pale.. summer has leached all the colour out of them..and I’m finding the Benefit pencil the perfect thing to primp them up.
