Benefit Cheeky Sweet Spot

I wasn’t expecting to like this blush set as much as I do. Blush sets are quite hard to come by unless you go to a pro range such as Ben Nye but I like the idea of having all my blushes in one place. If you could see my make-up drawer, you’d realise why – blushes are the one thing that seem to go AWOL all the time!

As you can see, all the most popular shades are there from Dandelion (I remember when Dandelion first launched – we’d never seen a blush in a cardboard box before – honestly!) through to Coralista so there’s pretty much everything you could need. There’s also a teeny pot of Watts Up and an even tinier blush brush (emergency use only I suspect).

I think the presentation is fabulous (it’s a tin holder with an insert) and even though I prefer creme blush, I can see myself getting a lot of use out of this so it’s going into the keep drawer.

It’s £29.50 and the best deal I can find is at Boots where if you buy two or more Benefit products you get a sample of their facial serum. It’s HERE. Otherwise, deals on Benefit are hard to find.

Hi Jane, some reviews I read were saying that the pigmentation/colour isn’t quite the same as the original/individual blushers… Have you swatched them & what are your thoughts please?

Actually no, I didn’t swatch – thanks for flagging up. I need to see if I have any of the originals to compare side by side. I’m not sure I do but will definitely check x

  2. This blush set is at the top of my Christmas list – I love the Benefit blushes! I’ve only ever had the little mini blush sets you get in airports, and I’ve completely ran out now! Though my favourite blush (Dallas!) is missing from this one 😉

I hope the pigmentation isn’t any different though like CY is saying! That’d be a shame!

I’m speaking to them later to check it out properly xx

  3. Leanne

As soon as this released I wanted to try it but I’m getting it for Christmas hopefully

  4. There are side-by-side swatches of a couple of them on Temptalia and they do look different, but it’s minimal – there’s still a good payoff of colour but there do appear to be slight shade differences which is a bit of a shame. Still absolutely love this set though! xx

So, have had a word with the peeps at Benefit – they say the pigment is exactly the same. There’s no difference at all in the format between the big and the small. That’s the official word but if you find otherwise, please do let me know x

  6. I will count myself lucky then, as I was able to purchase it for £25 at Liverpool airport back in October. I wanted to try Dandelion and Hoola for a very long time, but I just couldn’t justify spending £23.50 on 1 blush. So when I came across this beautiful set it felt as it was meant to be :).

Thanks Jane, I might give in to buying it then!

  8. This is incredible! I’ve wanted this since I first saw it! I might have to finally treat myself on Friday for payday! I hope the pigmentation rumours are not true!
