I’m not sure I ever posted the picture of my moment as guest Cabinet filler for BeautyMart in Harvey Nichols. I can’t believe I didn’t post it. I was thrilled to be asked to do the very first cabinet for them and used all my immaculately kept Chanel goodies to make it look beautiful.
Funnily enough though, it caused no end of bother because people kept trying to take the pieces out and touch them (don’t blame them!) and the lovely people at BeautyMart got rather stressed that they might be damaged! So, it didn’t last very long before their nerve broke and it had to be packed away – two weeks, I think.
However, it was really a pleasure to actually do something with my collections that otherwise sit in a box in my beauty room. Thanks BeautyMart!

omg – i actually saw these there. I wasn’t a toucher, but had wanted to buy one of those beautiful palettes!!
Nice to see I’m not the only “nutter” to buy popwders just to look at them. For me it’s mainly Chantecaille though, some of those are a real work of art.
Swoon! I was hoping you were going to say they were available for purchase. The black and gold palette is to die for, the equivalent of the classic flap bag!
wow what a fab opportunity that was!! I cant wait to see the beauty mart when I go to london next weekend! xx
oh how lovely!
It looks amazing. I wish they had the cabinets in the Liverpool BeautyMart, there’s just no room though.
