Although we haven’t really got to grips with the Asian version of face masks, prefering our cream masks to the pre-soaked fabric masks available, already fabric masks have been given a new twist with lace.
It’s actually not so new – I tried a Guerlain cream face mask that came with its own black lace mask to soak the cream with. It was a bit like wearing my knickers on my face to be honest, but I didn’t know then that it was a front runner in a brand new beauty trend.
Lace Your FaceLace Your Face comes from Dermovia – they say it’s like control wear for your face (chin strap, ear straps etc); I say, don’t answer the door in it otherwise your postman will make assumptions.
Lace Face Masks aren’t here yet (although I believe the Guerlain version is available at Harrods) so this is just to highlight the leap that fabric masks are making across the globe, even if they’re not quite our cup of tea yet.

I get my pre-soaked fabric masks from Japan and I think they’re great as my skin is really dehydrated and use it when I am reading in bed. Having said that I don’t want to scare my boyfriend looking like Jason from Friday the 13th so I do it when I am on my own lol. I’ve not yet tried the lace ones although I am sure I will see them when I make my way East later in the year.
