Ever since I had a conversation with a friend about how amazing it would be if Hermes did lipsticks, I’ve become obsessed with how actually fabulous this would be. I’m designing them up in my head – a blazing hot orange shade for next summer for a start and a wow fuschia pink – casings in leather holders a la Birkin bag finish. A bit of stitching effect embossed into an H on the bullet of the lippie itself or even a bit of a croc pattern going on…
Come on Hermes.. you know what you have to do..

Now, I have to tell you that I do indeed have not one but two Hermes lipsticks. They are both red in gold cases, one sheer and one matte. More brown red than blue red. They were part of the Rouge Hermes collection. Kinda fab.
