I’ve had a really long think about what products I’m not prepared to enter 2013 without and skin & hair wise, the above are my five champions that I’d recommend in a heart-beat to anyone. Leaving aside BIOEffect, Lanolips and Aromatherapy Associates, my all-time favourite products (which I barely leave the house without, never mind a whole year!) the five super heroes above have gone above and beyond in terms of delivery and expectations. First is the new (yet-to-be-released) Double Serum from Clarins that has without doubt given my skin more radiance and a smoother texture. Next is Melvita ProSun Self Tan; the most beautiful, natural looking self-tan I have ever found. It has never streaked, never gone patchy and it moisturises the skin perfectly as well. Phyto Subtl Elixir is a pre-wash treatment which certainly ticks my boxes for being incredibly easy to use (no more getting in and out of the shower to leave your deep conditioning treatment to work for twenty minutes or whatever) and giving amazing shine to hair. You just pop it on your hair half an hour or so (or overnight) before you want to wash it and it softens and conditions it beautifully before you even shampoo. Avene’s Micellar Water Cleanser gives BioDerma a run for its money; it’s a beautifully gentle cleanser for even the most sensitive of skins and cleans thoroughly without drying out skin. For every-day use, I’d challenge you to find something better. Finally, Sophyto’s Superskin Concentrate. As soon as this goes onto your skin, you know it’s doing something good. For a supple, hydrated and silky complexion, it’s absolutely amazing. I use it sporadically when my skin feels like it needs an overnight boost and every single time, I wake to skin that feels and looks better.
Elizabeth Arden Hyaluronic Acid Ceramide Capsules
I’d be prepared to put money down to bet that you won’t have experienced a skin care texture like this before...
