The Barry M Summer Love Palette is for pastel lovers only – if you like brights and darks on your eyes, this one isn’t for you. It’s what I call an ‘Easter’ palette (oh, hang on, did I just sound like Miranda’s mum, there?!) even though there is really no such thing, but it reminds me of those sugar coated chocolate eggs that you only ever really see at Easter.
For me, this isn’t really very wearable – it’s so soft in colouring and for my tones, its just too light, but pale girls rejoice because it’s going to bring out the very best in your tone!
The colours aren’t dissimilar to the Bobbi pastel palette (that I didn’t much like, either!) – the highlighter is power-packed though – you are going to glow but I’m not sure if it’s going to be in a good way. I can totally see that it’s a fresh and pretty palette – I think if you have youth on your side you might be able to wear it better, but just on my personal view, it’s not really doing it for me. That said, at £6.49, it’s very good value and if you’re missing any of the shades in your line-up, would be an excellent spring fling. The Barry M Summer Love Eye & Cheek Palette launches into Superdrug on 12th March.

I know what you mean about the colours, I am actually really pale so I might give this a go based on what you said. I think it’s a good price for £6.49 and I think I might be able to create a nice spring look with it.
Such an amazing pigmentation for such a cheap price! I love it really wanna give it a go!

Completely agree, pastel colours are great to look at in the pan, but aren’t as practical to wear. Especially to places like an office etc.
