Barry M Satin Super Slick Lip Paints are bucking the trend for mattes with a new collection of satins. I love the packaging – a kind of shiny pewter shade that makes them look way more expensive than their £4.49 price tag. Shades are very far from the ultra-brights that we’re seeing at the moment; they’re more muted and gentle which is a relief for anyone who doesn’t want a shouty mouth!
Barry M Satin Super Slick Lip PaintsIn terms of wear, they’re gorgeously soft on the lip (shea butter and Vitamin E) but do need reapplications. I don’t think the creamy lipstick that doesn’t need reapplying exists – it’s just not possible with that level of emollients. In the swatch above, shades (unhelpfully not listed on the actual lipsticks but that could be my samples) are (from bottom to top): Nuditude, Berry-licious, Mauve It, Truffle Shuffle, Mannequin and Peachy Keen.
The Barry M Satin Super Slick Lip Paints launch on 23rd September.
