Although I’m not generally a mineral fan, I do love these bareMinerals Ready Eyeshadow duos – a beauty heart-break moment was when I lost my favourite duo that I wore all the time! I can’t even remember its name, now, but I miss it.
These are new shades of bareMinerals Ready Eyeshadow, and personally speaking, both are instant wins. The pink based duo is The Covert Affair, with Air and Catch Me If… (pink), and the golden khaki duo is The Magic Touch with Presto and (khaki) Flicker (and the nearest match to my long-lost duo). Quality wise, these are winners – they’re glidey on the skin, blend like a dream and have enough gleam to the shades that they’re eye brightening.
Actually, there is a little bit more to these shadows than meets the eye. The formula contains a marine based complex with borage oil, caffeine and cucumber to depuff the skin. I don’t honestly know how much I’ve noticed that they do anything more than colour the eye, but I like makeup with additional skin benefits so I’d rather have it there than not.

I bought The Promise a couple of weeks ago and I am very happy with the texture, color and lasting ability. I also bought the Bare Minerals cream eye shadows which are terrific. I don’t know if you have reviewed them yet.
I love the simplicity of these, its surprising how effective two colours are!
