B. On Tour: Beautiful Moments

B. Foundation

The new skin care and beauty range at Superdrug, B. is heading on a Beautiful Moments tour around the country so if you’re able to make it along to any one of the following venues, there’s all sorts of beautiful things going on!

Metro Centre Newcastle 15th-17th February

Arndale Manchester 22nd-24th February

Westfield London 1st-3rd March

Bullring Birmingham 8th -10th March

Braehead Glasgow 15th 17th March

Bluewater Kent 22nd-24thMarch

Cabot Circus Bristol 29th-31st March

It’s your chance to play around with the products, pick up samples and get a free mini make-over, as well as a chance to win £200 of products.

If you get the chance, try the Micellar Water, which I is one of my clear favourites and also the Melting Gel Cleanser, another favourite of mine. You can follow B. at @joinBsocial on Twitter and the same address for Facebook. I’m interested to find that on Facebook, feedback on the range is predominantly good.

  1. I tried the micellar water for first time on Saturday. I hated it at first but I used far too much and felt really greasy afterwards. I’m seeing the positives now as a pre-cleanse before my workout but I think micellar waters in general (not just this one) have been a bit over hyped. It still took me as long cleansing as it would with a hot cloth cleanser to be honest. I’m probably the exception though because I know a lot of people love micellar waters!

Aaa why is it in my home– wait. They said Metrocentre Newcastle? It’s Gateshead /pedantic. –but yes, why is it in my home area so soon? This would have been nice to come home to see. 🙁 I suppose I could consider Arndale… eugh.

Shame they’re not visiting Wales 🙁

Nothing ever comes to Wales. Ever.

… Well, maybe Cardiff. But that’s it.

  4. Ooh think I’ll be going to the Glasgow one if I can get to Braehead, wish they’d done it in the city centre tho! Xx

I haven’t tried any of the skin care yet but I bought 2 items of the make up range last weekend as they had a buy one get one half price offer on; an eye kohl in dark blue and a shimmery blush. I like the blush, it looks a bit like Bobbi Brown’s shimmer brick (which I have never tried, too expensive), it really brightened my pale winter skin without looking over done, the shimmer is very fine too I think, I am 31, I don’t want to look like a teenager. The eye kohl was a bit of a let down, the colour was fine, a kind of dark navy blue, reasonably mat and it went on very soft but there just wasn’t enough colour pay off and it took me a whole to have a decent line. I tested the long stay foundation too, it looked good, might buy it when I run out of my Revlon colour stay.

I don’t like micellar waters, it is probably psychological but they don’t make me feel ‘clean’.

I get so fed up with companies saying they are going to do promotional tours all round the country when really they just mean England. What about Northern Ireland, Wales & other parts of Scotland? I love Superdrugs own products it’s just a shame they aren’t that interested in their customers outside of England.
