There are lots of exciting things coming from B. at Superdrug, but I think that B. Even Oil Control Foundation will grab a big share of the attention. Why? Partly because it’s oil control capacity is very good indeed – think glowy, not too matte – but also because it incorporates dark skin tone shades. I know in the picture that the darkest shade looks rather golden, but in reality, on my hand, it really is a dark tone. I will get swatches shown as soon as I have the darker shade samples (couldn’t really pinch the display #badbloggerform).
B. foundation formulas are very good – mine is in regular use – and I’m very much hoping that these darker shades will move across all of the B. Foundations. Texture-wise, B. Even Oil Control Foundation feels very different from other foundations. Bearing in mind I don’t have oily skin particularly, I tested it across my nose which was looking a bit shiny. It’s rather hard to describe the feeling, but one word that springs to mind is waterproof, without the associated heaviness that might conjour up.
You might recognise fashion blogger and model, Nada Adelle (nadaadelle.com) as the face of the range . So, B. Even Oil Control Foundation was tested on 100 women of different ethnicities and tones to get the right shades (it’s an eight shade range – I’ve asked for more!) and it’s full of my favourite ingredient, hyaluronic acid, so you won’t lose out on hydration while the oil control is going on.
The foundation launches on 10th November and there will be plenty of How To Videos and Tutorials by B. Makeup Ambassador, Cassie Lomas with Nada. B. Even Oil Control Foundation will cost £10.99.
